Futaba 4EXA
Anyone using the Futaba 4EXA radio for a Tamiya tiger tank. Can the digital trim be modified for self centering of the gimballs. Or would the standard 4VWD be a better choice.

RE: Futaba 4EXA
I have two 4EXA radios. I have converted both to a self centering gimbal on the left. It becomes obvious how to do it when you open up the radio. The parts are about $2. I had to wait three months for the parts. Email Futaba they will tell you the part #"s . This radio has analog trims not digital. They work fine on Tamiya MFU units on their big rig series. I assume they will work on tanks. I plan on using them when I start my Sherman.

RE: Futaba 4EXA
Thanks for the link thats one thing I hate about my radios. Half the time I start up a tank and off she goes because of the ratchet on the stick being up or down some and I always forget to look to see if it is.
