Default Trouble with PVC tires

So I am new to drifting and have an HPI Nirto RS4 3 with PVC Tires. If I give the car any considerable throttle it jus spins in circles, I cant drive in a straight line and steer in any direction without it spinning out. Any ideas of what is wrong? I know its going to be touchy but this isnt drivable. Thanks for the help.

It's nitro. Go with ABS because PVC is very fine and will not give you any grip at all.
ABS will at least give you a little grip that will let you move forward.
Besides, you don't need considerable throttle to drift. With my RS4 I use 1/4 throttle max.

Practice throttle control m8
Practice pulling away slow in a straight line forward first to see how much throttle u need on pvc its slippy as hell but once u get the throttle right then you can start sweeping out into drifts etc.
Trust that pulling away trick taught me how to drift when i first used pvc
And once the pvc wears in a bit and the shine has gone they give a bit more grip not loads tho

you only go even half throttle when your heading for a corner then start braking and turning then slight throttle and practise alot

maybe try backing off your throttle trim or put it to the 30/70

The Idea is not to gun the throttle on PVC tyres...

Ideally, there best suited to electrics rather then a nitro

You shouldn't need any more then a split second pulse to kick the tail out...

Remember, RC Drifting isn't about speed, its about controlling the slide...
