whoo! i hold the record with most pc viruses!

I like AVG. There are updates all the time and as far as I know it finds everything.
You get those inappropriate site pop ups because someone looks at that stuff with your laptop.

Spybot Search & Destroy is the most effective for me. I barely use my other 4 or 5 anymore.
And just a tip in case you didn't know, all the programs catch different things, so you want more than one. However you don't want too many.

I hat system restore, it always comes up with a messege that its not worked when my laptop restarts, could it be bacause of my external hardrive?

One computer at my Moms work had 2300 infected files and 50 - 100 spy ware infected files I think it all came up to about 2600 total infected files with all the stuff.

I use AVG 7.5, Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy - all good programs.
Be wary of some of the programs that claim to be anti virus/trojam software, as they themselves often contain spyware etc.

yeh, work computer get alot of viruses. My dads one gets computers each get over 50 malicous software alone every week

Maybe the gay traffic you are initiating is causng more viruses? Look at your first problem on the list lol (as pointed out before).

I disagree with Search and Destroy, it basically calls everything on my computer as malicious software such as msn, firefox, windows media player. Its just irritating, i prefer avg for free antivirus but i use norton 360 now

I also use AVG. It works great. But since I got my new computer I found that the best thing to do is simply stop dowloading useless things. And for your own good, stay away from those GAY TRAFFICBROKER websites!
