Default 40% Extra 330 CG Location

Recently obtained a Carden 40% Extra 330 with no plans. Can someone tell me what the recommended CG range is?

Thanks

On the old style wing the plans are at 4.5" back from the leading egde at the tip. This is on the nose heavy side. I started with mine there and ended up moving it back 1/4". That flew pretty nuetral for IMAC. Some 3D guys go way back from there.

If you start at 4.5" and work your way back until you like it you should have good results.

The new wings that carden sells have a different taper. They start at 3-3/4" (90% sure that is right)for precision and moves back from there.

Good luck

3.5" from the L.E. at the tip, 5.5" would be very tail heavy.

My 40% Extra 260 is 3 1/2- 4-1/4 from the leading edge at the tips . I don't like picking it up by the tips myself.
