Fuel line touching my engine on Firestorm
Here is a pic of my stock Firestorm showing the fuel line touching the cylinder head. I'm worried that the temp may melt through the fuel line. Should I get a larger fuel line or use special tape to protect the line, or not worry about it? Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

I'd reroute your fuel line around the back of the engine near the base of the cooling head. The longer line will keep your engine running longer when the truck flips over and keep the line from having direct contact with the cooling head.

Just buy another section of fuel line and put that one around the left side of the cooling heaad if you were looking from the back of your firestorm. just keep it like a cm at the most away from the head and it will work just fine.

Yeah I dont think rubber will melt at 250-270 which is what your head temps should be between I think. But I would reroute your fuel lines anyway because of what was previously stated...In case you flip over......

I'd leave it exactly as it is and quit caring. this is how I have the fuel line routed on my AD2 and Savage

That tubing won't melt. You can leave it. But it is a good idea to lengthen it like others suggest because the longer it is the more fuel it will hold when its upside down. So it will run for longer upside down till you or some one else can get to it to turn it right side up.
I actually take a piece of tubing to protect any servo wires that pass near the head.
