Here are a few extra upgrades that I’m going to buy. My question is this, what manufacture do you recommend for the below parts?

Bulkheads – Silver – Front and Rear (do I need braces as well)
RD Logics
Integy
Other

Shock Towers – Blue – Front and Rear
RD Logics
Integy
Other

Aluminum Body Mounts - Silver Front and Rear
RD Logics

Other

Lunsford Racing Titanium Hinge Pin Kit

Thanks

one company for everything. American CNC Machining, except the titanium hinge pins, ACNCM doesn't have titanium.

Do they have a website where I can see the parts?

out of all of the above the only good upgrade is the bulkheads.....I would personally use Traxxas alloy bulks but hey I'm just a sucker for good workmanship....

Take a look at RPM for the rest of what is listed except the hinge pins they make it all.

i would say go with rpm too.. i bought the a-arms for my revo and you can tell just by looking and holding them that they are better. plus all/most rpm parts is guarented not to break or they will replace it for free.. cant beat that deal...jake

jamb,

here is a couple links that may help.. from what i saw the acncm are great but they are too strong and end up causing other things to break. plus i read they strip out very easy. in these links they mention a couple other ones that sound good. hope you find some good info in one of these links.. jake

I just ordered the GA 7075 T-6 Bulkhead Kit (front and back w/ braces). I don’t know if they come with the hinge pin set...but seems like a good price for that quality of product including the braces as well. It was $105 but should last longer than the truck.

The GA 7075 bulks will arrive today…talk about fast FREE delivery…wow! Well I was wondering if anyone had some quick advice on how to take the truck apart…is there a particular order I need to follow. I am going to work on it this weekend, but unfortunately I don’t have a hinge pin set yet and will need to do some fast ordering or find them local. The LHS shop has the Integy Pins, but I’m a little worried about the quality.

On another note, we have had the Integy Piggy Back Shocks (MSR4) on for a few days of hard running/bashing (so hard the wheelie busted off) and they seem to be working great. I did turn down the adjustable collars a bit to stiffen them up and I’m running 70w oil.

What replacement wheelie bars do you guys recommend?

As always, any help would be appreciated.

Just watck how mch aluminum u put on. Put on aluminum bulkheads and RPM arms and u will be good to go. I would stay away from Integy hinge pins also as the will probably bend or snap on the first impact

There is no diassembly order that I know of. Just take the wheels and the engine of first. That will make it easyer to work with.

I blieve there are a few manufactors out there that make aluminum wheelie bars if thats what your getting at.

Thanks RACEMAXX24,

I understand the too much aluminum problem. I do need to put on some sort of wheelie bar that will withstand some roll over’s and rear landing jumps. I bid on an OEM replacement on eBay last night, but lost…I was just being too cheap and thought that if I was going to spend $10 of more for a replacement, I should just get a better product. Is this a common upgrade to aluminum?

Do you think the Integy wheelie bar will be ok?

I haven't really heard on people breaking the stock wheelie bar. I would have to say that an aluminum wheelie bar is noy a common upgrade but i'm sure that there are advantages and disadvantges of aluminum wheelie bars as with all things.

I would say the Integy on should be fine looking at the pic but as I haven't tryed it, I can't tell u for sure.

traxxas says to take off the wheelie bar when bashing hard or jumping. if you broke your stock wheelie bar then you must have been doing some heavy bashing:}:}

mine has come off several times doing small jumps. i would think that the aluminum ones would bend before breaking. they sure would look nicer and be great for popping wheelies but if you are in to heavy backyard bashing i would either take it off first or buy a couple stock ones.

i am bidding on one stock one now on ebay. this guy must buy 4-5 tmaxxas at a time and part them out. i saw his wheelie bars sell from 99 cents to 8 bucks. even at 8 bucks that is about half price. take care,,jake

Just a little pic update...here are the GA 7075 Bulks and UE Knucklehead Shock Towers...the 17MM aluminum wheel hex's and Lunsford Racing Titanium Hinge Pins will be here today, so I should be able to get it back together tonight. I also ordered a set of Full Force Blue Aluminum Body post.

…more to come…

Thanks

I have only had them on the truck for 5 or so tanks of gas (but ran and jumped hard). So far they have been great and much better than the stock shocks. Keep in mind, I am running 70w oil. I bought these from a LHS prior to any research, and now realize that many people have had issues.
