RE: Hirobo pic thread
Hehe..... I get to show of my BIG bell now.
Almost finished. just have to fit Gyro and tail servo and she's ready.
I like it that much I am going to persevere (against all odds and the Aussy distributors attitude) and get another one and do her up as a croppy, booms and all.

Great looking Bell Wiz.
Do you have any more?
Can you tell me if you know where I can get some blades. Mine are old and the Bell is the very early version. I'll post some picks of mine shortly. I'm also doing it up as a croppy but can't get much detail on the spray booms.
Regards

I have the original woodies if your interested. I am building the boom gear from the airfoil profile aluminium stock available at most hobby shops and fishing trace wire. all very scale looking and cheap to purchase.

Thanks Wiz I'm interested in the blades, what are you using? I'll give my 47 a bit of a clean this weekend and post some pics However it's still not finished.
How much wider do you think the booms will make the Bell. I'm having trouble getting details of booms.
Can you pm me and give me details of the blades such as condition, dimentions, what you want for them and address details
Regards

Hey ya Rudix, I am interested in the Tanks and hoppers.......... more so the tanks, as one of mine is damaged. PM me the price and bank details and I'll have them.
I am using a set of 820 Carbons, not sure about parting with the blades just yet, until I can get a spare set of carbons. As soon as I can find a set, i will PM you the details. they are the ones that come in the kit, brand new and unused.
The booms on the croppy will be some airfoil section aluminium from the LHS. they have several sizes available. combines weight with stay wires would be less that 100g. they would be between 500 and 800mm per side. will make the heli look pretty big.
Cheers, Wiz.

Well, I wrecked my blades on a fence, so I guess its fate that I didn't part with the spares. I did manage to find a supply of 800mm carbons though, so they are still available as unused if you want them Rudix.
Hows the details on the tanks and hoppers going?.
Cheers, Wiz.

Gday Nitrohog. It is a current model Hirobo Bell 47G3 (GS). I love it that much, I am awaiting delivery of another one to build as a scale crop sprayer. Great scale machine, flys great and looks great, and very hard to beat for this sort of scale ship at the price they are available for.
Rudix..... where are you dude?

These are before and after pics... guess which is after. By the way this Shuttle Plus is available free to whomever can come pick it up. I will be removing the engine and radio gear... not the Gyro as I will never need one again.

RE: Hirobo pic thread
hey man
yes its a 30 size heli.and i know it is shuttle...but it seems to me they are all different..and im wondering if this is a mix of all the different ones.
actually i saw similarities with the shuttle in the first pic on this thread..and that seems to be a Z version...but seem like they all have some differenses to my heli.heh confusing
luckily my heli came with some spares..as tail rotor blade holders, and an ekstra tail rotor assembly and even an extra fuselagepluss alot of misc parts
cheers for reply

RE: Hirobo pic thread
I figured it would be at least a ZX due to the Z coming with a belt start instead of a shaft start.
If you want to compare a ZXX to your's, check out my "Stepping Into Nitro Helis" thread here in the Hirobo Support Forum. I have quite a few detail pics in there. The washout assembly, seesaw, and pitch lever look very similar to what's on the ZXX.
Either way, you can convert many of the older Shuttles to the newest, most supported Shuttle with changing a few parts out.
Good luck to you.

but thanx for the help anyways
