locking rear diff. how do you?
could any one please in dept describe how to lock the rear gear box on my lighting? its the newer style gear box.
pictures would be great if any one has them.
and does anyone know exactly whats the difference in the front and back gear boxes? the only thing that i can plainly see is only the coded housing.

if you want to permanently lock them you can open up the rear diff, then open up the little screws and fill in the inside with some jb weld. Just make sure you get the jb weld on the opposite side of the inside gears. Caution: Make sure you know how the big silver gear with the 4 screws go back on. the holes are in a rectangular pattern, and if you dont get it right the first time you may not have another chance because the jb weld dries very fast!
