Sushi ABS Drfit tires
Recently just bought some Sushi ABS off of ebay, and new HPI TE37 rims just for them but after trying to fit the rims on the ABS....only one ABS will let the rim sit inside of it...the others were pretty much forced in but left the other side of the rim exposed. It was stated that it will fit snug inside the ABS which is not true. I tried sanding the inside of the ABS tire down, but still won't fit. THe Sushi ABS are a deal, but doesn't seem to be worth the $10 because they do not fit.

RE: Sushi ABS Drfit tires
sometimes you have to make a few adjustments, weather it's sanding the inside of the tire or adding electrical tape to your wheel to make it fit snug. either way, the $10 saves you the hassle of cutting and dremmeling the tires to size. make sure you don't ever do any permanent changes to your actual rims. sometimes even the HPI tires can be difficult, but you've just got to work with them a bit.

RE: Sushi ABS Drfit tires
I literally just went through this about 3 hours ago. I have a set of Sushi's, and a brand new set of TE37 rims to put them on.
1. find a bowl
2. put water in bowl
3. put TIRE (not rim!) in the bowl of water
4. put everything in the microwave]
5. set microwave for 1 minute, but don't walk away.
6. Water starts boiling, wait a couple seconds then stop.
7. pull hot tire out of water with a fork. it will quickly (within seconds) be cool enough to handle
8. start the rim in tire face first and push down to the inner rim lip.
9. dip inner rim/tire into hot water for a second, then put face down on the counter and push hard with the palm of your hand
10. You're done!
Honestly it sounds more difficult than it is. Was my first time getting them on aswell. i also did no sanding whatsoever.
