I'm well aware, to be honest, I really want to go and change my fluid, but I have the old 25 bulkhead setup and that would take a ton of effort for something thats not 100% necessary. It does annoy me at times that the diffs unload so easily, and I have major torque steer since I'm running 10,000WT oil on both diffs. When I rebuild, I'll go 50K front and 30K rear, but for now, if it aint broke.... dont fix it[8D],

is been i while since i posted some pics of my truck,

i told yall i was doing alot of work to my savage,

i got me a lrp .28

and a hyper st pipe with a buggy header

and a lst shock conversion and a team losi fm radio

this trck is ripping right now,

here are some pics of when she was clean and when i was running her in the park at night with my other savage that i bought and i bought an axial .28 0n it...so far it has runned pretty good...i heard alot of bad things about this engine

gang, i have some homework for you.

Suprasales on fleabay has a Power Racing 053 pipe for cheap. some imperfections...but who cares...buy that pipe, run the dogsnot out of your LRP Savage...then swap pipes, retune, and get back to us, and let us know how it is

I love the color as well, I think it was supposed to be a more pearly lighter purple, but I was really glad how it ended up a little darker.

well my parts came in this morning, installed them, and WOW. With the new dynamite shoes, I took the savage out into the street and as soon as I pinned it, the savage was on it's back, dinged up my engine [:@] But hey, the thing not only moves again, it does backflips on the ground! Well here are some pics of the parts and a short vid of some wheelies. Keep in mind I was trying to keep the truck down, it has much more wheelie potential. Running my old body also, don't wanna trash the pleazer yet haha I also love the vented fly wheel
and yes, I run the savage carb, the mach is jammed up and needs to be repaired

bud, I do know that when I went from the stock pipe to the vantage pipe, not only did it sound great but there was a noticeable power change.

And rcnitrohead, I'm using the associated vented flywheel and dynamite platinum shoes. Fantastic looking/functioning set-up. I have only heard good things about these shoes, they supposedly have incredible wear.

^^ Thanks man, my HPI Alums look horrible[&:], the shoes are worn to the same level as the springs.

A question for all you guys that have upgraded your throttle mix arm on your Savages. I'm going to be doing the Ofna Throttle mod, and want to get a mixer arm too to kill all of the slop in my current setup. All they have in Tower is either the GPM or Integy sets[:@], lol which one would you pick? Also what useful thing can I spend $20 on to use a coupon on, I dunno what to get[&o].

$20????? why don't you get a new body. can never have enough of those can you? I know what you mean.. I was looking to see if I could gather up $150 for my sons and my truck... Body, tires for me.. Motor, pinion, bigger batteries for his flash light. But if you search ebay you can get more off than those coupons. The motor I was looking at was like $42 at tower and $25 on ebay.. theres already more off than the coupon was giving Lol.. Ahh well.

The only Integy part I ever put on my truck is the throttle mix arm and no problems yet.

Sooooo, I went out to the local park today to drive and the skies opened up, hard[:@] It was raining too hard to drive, usually it wouldn't stop me but I wanna avoid as many problems as I can right now so I can drive on the weekend

Here is two savage's:

in the car with red body have a OS 30. engine, and no mora uppgrades!

In the secend car i have no uppgrades, but that would come! it is a normal savage 21. (black and gray body)

I always wondered if there was a traction difference in running those tires backward, well?

There is, but I think it applies mostly to Chevron type tires? Anyways, I loved the look of the OG Savage 21, it looks so rugged. I really wanted it as my first truck back in '03 but was put off by the weak engine.
