TC4 tire and tracking straight question
I recently got a TC4 and I noticed while running the stock tires that the car doesnt seem to return to neutral properly and drive straight. Its like you make a turn then come out of it and the car seems like the trim is off, so you trim it, but it then goes the other way when coming out of a turn, and wont stay straight. I gave the front a little more toe in than stock, and it helped a little, but not much. However this does not happen when using foams. It returns to neutral fine. Is this just a known thing with the stock rubber tc4 tires?

RE: TC4 tire and tracking straight question
Yes it only happens with the stock rubber tires. Any of my foams are fine. Other than eyeballing it I have no real way of testing the true of the tires. But you may have a good point that it might just be the factory tires arent true. I know without a doubt its not my steering servo. The traxxas 2075 delivers 125oz of torque. Thats about 80 ounces more torque than the stock servo. There is a very small amount of slop in the steering. But its very little. So Im leaning towards the tires. I was planning on buying a couple more sets of tires anyway. One to smash around in the street and one for race day only. So... this leads to my next question. What foams do you recommend? The track is a fairly small asphault parking lot track. Not a prepped track at all. Im looking to stick to the track pretty good with minimal sliding. I know some guys like the slide, Id rather stick as much as i can. All your input is appreciated. Thanks alot.
