Spad for a 25cc gas engine
I was wondering if anybody had any plans for a spad that would take a 25cc weed eater engine. I checked spad to the bone the the stick they have on there calls for a 32cc to 50cc, and I don't want it to be sluggish from lack of power, I really want it to scream.

RE: Spad for a 25cc gas engine
Jesse,
After talking to a couple of the SPAD experts at SF08, the consensus is to downsize an USS (Ultra Spad Stick) to 85%. I am going to build one this winter.

You can make a 25cc weedie fly:
see HERE for my solution.
But, you'll be hard pressed to make it a screamer.
