Default t-maxx 3.3 problem

i was running my t maxx and all of a sudden it slowed down to about 5 mph.......when i brought it in the spur gear was loose and i tightened it up but it came loose again and i dont know why...........can anyone help me ...??

make sure all the parts to the slipper r there. all three cluch pads, spur gear, 2 whasher and nut. some times u have to lock tight the nut.

+1!!! as the saying sometimes goes; blue loctite can be a r/e'ers best friend!!! especially when it comes to keeping bolts and screws from loosening up too often.....

or you can just replace the nylon lock nut with a new one
the nylon part part wears out after taking it off and on a few times

I just bought a tmaxx 4908 last friday, my slipper clutch loosened and one of the pads vanished. It was only on my 8th tank of gas. On the 6th tank, right after break-in, my center to rear driveshaft flew apart too. I called traxxas and they are sending me new parts free of charge. I went ahead and bought new parts from the lhs because i'm impatient.
