Has anyone considered putting a small (or large) nitro engine & maybe retracts too into the new Sig Bf 109 ARF that was originally intended to be electric ?[8D]

because I have loads of nitro engines laying around, and I like the sound of the engines

Why not? A nitro will give a bit more power for the wieght, longer flight times, reduced cost and of course, the sound.

Thansk for that clarification Evil Merlin...
I guess no one has decided to try this conversion.
The plane really needs retracts too.
I have too many irons in the fire to go after this one, though it could be a fun lil' project.

I think the problem is the Bf 109 from Sig is still a little too new.

Not a lot of people have it yet.

electric= more power faster and can stay in the air longer then nitro they just don't make the noise most people like to hear.
