Hyper 7 TQ blown rear diff, help please!
Hi, my brother has a Hyper 7 TQ rtr, in the last race the diff stripped, when he hit the throttle the rear diff just make clikcing noises, I open it to check and the crown and pinion gear are wear and kinda stripped, the buggy is not very old so that is strange, my question is, if there is posible to use some shims or something to make the pinion year sit closes to the crown gear, if so what shims do I need? size? there exist shims for this buggy? thanks!

I do not shim my Hyper 8 pro or my Hyper 8.5 pro but never had a problem but on my race Savage I do and yes I do not see why you could not shim them.

I think these are what you are looking for.
I had this happen with my Hyper 7. This can be caused by the diff bearings developing side play or the diff housing becoming a little sloppy.
These shims go on the crown side on the outside of the bearing to push the crown closer to the pinion.

oh yeah thanks! I also think that this happening because of the diff cases getting sloppy.. I suppose those are exactly what I need!
