Default Volcano Sv T2 Help?

Brand New Volcano SV T2 1 tank after break in, i managed to strip the spur gear! Will any other brand spur gear work with mine? i know my local hobby carries alot of TMAXX. That thing was screaming fast!!! Love the Two Speed Trans!!

you probably dont need a different brand spur gear. Did you remember to mesh the spur gear and the clutchbell before you started? if not that's the reason your gear stripped.

your spur gear prolly stripped during or after your crash....the chassis will flex some during impact which may result in bad gear mesh

if the clutchbell is turning the spur gear when you give it throttle but your rc doesnt move it has to be in the tranny...

flip the truck over...there should be a square cut in the chassis were the tranny is....you will prolly have to rotate the spur gear to see it but there should be 2 grub screws

the new two speeds are sealed transmissions and there should be a hole were you can acces the grub screw on the back left side of the transmission. Turn counter clockwise to make it shift earlier or clockwise to make it shift later

i'm not sure but try tightening the shifting adjustment grub screw on the trans

edit: have you opened it up and tried to mess around with it yet to see how it works? because that's usualy the best way to fix it and learn how your vehicle works is just to tinker with it.

there is a one way bearing inside the first gear that allows second gear to spin the shaft faster. It sounds like that went bad.

I was curious if anyone with the t2 has a problem with the front upper arm mount part number 01007. I just broke my second one and thats not the curious part the curious part is that they broke in EXACTLY the same spot and EXACTLY the same side and EXACTLY the same shape just curious cause it makes me wonder if the parts were made with a defect in them lemme know thanks
