Transponder mount
Just got an AMB transponder for my LST2, since the track I run at has indicated that they may not offer loaners anymore.
Am looking for creative ideas as to where to mount it.
Thanks.

RE: Transponder mount
Everyone I know mounts theirs in the open hole left over from the reverse servo. Chris DeWinter of DPP products used to make some custom mounts that fit the front, but I don't think he's in business anymore.
I use the carbon fiber chassis, and I just drilled two holes for the TP's ears - and used one of the servo mounting holes for the third. I put small pieces of fuel tubing over some 3/32" screws to act as cushins so the ears didn't get broken and then poped on some locknuts. Put the TP on the underside of the chassis too. The lower to the ground you can get the TP the better off you are.
