USB Cable Problem
I have had AFDP for some time but have not used it for about a year. I plugged in the USB cable in and it was not recognized. I also reloaded the software and ran the patches and nothing works. I know the USB port works fine because when I plug in other devices they respond . I am thinking maybe the cable is bad and if I need a new one how would I go about getting one?

RE: USB Cable Problem
Hi redwings, please ship your usb interface cable to the service department below with a brief description of your problem, daytime phone number, and email address. Request for a replacement usb interface cable. Please keep the Futaba adapter with you. You may attach this thread for reference.

RE: USB Cable Problem
Mike,
I have the same cable as redwings and it wasn't working anymore. I tought is was defective and since I had it for 4 years, I didn't expect to get a free replacement. I bought another complete second hand AFPD with a newer type of cable (rigid casing in lieu of heat shrink) from my local hobbyshop. Now I am wondering if I should have look at this thread before... :-(
Is the original USB link not compatible with the latest windows update ? I don't have Vista.
I still had to replaced the connector on the radio end to make it work on my Spektrum and JR TX.
Thanks
Xavier
