Who Has A Synchrogyro ???
Hi Gang, Does anyone out there know of a currently flying Synchrogyro 2-channel gas-powered autogyro model ?? Please share all of your Synchrogyro experiences/pix/videos with us. I was wondering if this design would work with one of the modern flex plate rotor heads (designed for a model of similar weight). Elevator control could be easily added if needed (extra arm located on rudder servo arm w/pushrod can be used to activate the elevator, giving "up" input while turning). Thanx !!! Charlie Anderson

RE: Who Has A Synchrogyro ???
Is that the one that was built from plans and an article in a magazine back in the late 70,s early 80s?
I got all the stuff together to build one of them including the gears and my dad machined a mount to hold the shafts but girls and fire trucks got me out of the hobby for a while back then.

Hi Andy, Yep, it dates from 1978, I believe. What worked back then, will work better now. Single-rotor updated version is warranted. It was claimed that the lightweight model would gently float down w/power off. I like that !!! Charlie Anderson

Hi Andy, I spoke with you on the RCU AutoGyro Forum a while back. Did you ever receive the plans for the Synchrogyro ?? I was wondering if you have built and flown one yet. Please send any specifications/pix of this design, as I can't seem to find a picture of it anywhere. Thanx for your help !!! Charlie Anderson [email protected]

Look what I got in the mail today!!!!!!
I was intrigued by this design and set about finding a copy of the RC Model Builder magazine that featured it. It took a few months, but patience and diligence paid off.
Woohoo!!!
