What do my eyes behold Sorry I havent been on much. I lost my job and havent been in the mood for RC latly. Im glad everyone likes the towers. I still havent finished putting my savage back together to run it. I didnt get a chance to finish making my engine mounts or my center tank mod plate at work which is a bummer.

RE: Low profile towers!
As for racing I did go a few times. Infact my last race we had Scotty Ernst as the announcer. Was a great day of racing. 1/8th scale buggy racing is intense and I went all season on my xray 808 without breaking a thing and only replaced clutchbell bearings once. although now I need to replace a few things, turns out I snapped 2 bolts off my wing support in my last race.

RE: Low profile towers!
shock towers are beastly. They will definitely outlast the truck.
And the handling?
Awesome, the twice it's been run since the HF shocks have been on there. WAY more downtravel without limiting uptravel!
It needs to be softened up in the rear to match the front though...it's REAL stiff...super wheelie machine!

Good to see you back Vig. To bad about the track closing up, I guess once you're into racing going back to bashing is not as exciting. It sucks to hear that someone is getting out of the hobby no matter who it is.
I ran my trucks a handful of times this summer but Im not giving up yet. Got a good deal on a used 5b so hopefully that will make things more interesting again. I would love to get into racing, the one time a few friends and I had a race for fun was so much fun that I cant stand just bashing in the park anymore, unless there's potential for some wicked jumps or anything that brings up the adrenaline level like it used to [&o].
No matter what though I will never sell my stuff, If I dont use it my son will in 5 to 7 years from now lol.

Bashing doesnt bother me its fun and all, but I dont have anyplace to do it since I live in the city. I might keep my custom savage though it depends on how much I make selling my other stuff. Im sure once I find a job that pays decent ill get back into racing I have a friend who wants to start his own track in the area maybe this track closure will spur him to start earlier.

Hello hello. I have returned from the underworld and have brought my post with me . I finally have a job thank god, and I have a guy who said he would be willing to make the towers for me as long as he can make a profit on them which shouldnt be hard. So I need to find out if there is still any demand for them. May also get him to make the custom tvps I always wanted to get around to but never could.
P.S. Thunderbird if your alive lemme know how they help up the last 2 years
