Twin motor Funster
I have built an RCM Funster from a kit bought at Hobby-Lobby. I want to make it an electric twin and have never used electric motors. Can anyone help with what I would need for this .45 sized plane with twin electric motors.
It will be slightly heavier built than standard. I fiberglassed the wing center for strength and enclosed the nose. I sheeted the turtle back and lifting stabilizer with 1/64th veneer birch. It will probably be covered with 21st Century fabric or Solartex.
Don't know what is needed in way of motor size, if it needs two speed controllers, batteries needed for motors etc? It would be nice to be able to get a 15-20 minute flight out of the set up. I don't know if this is realistic or not.
I am at the point in the build that I need to get all this going to proceed.
Any suggestions for this project?
