Has anyone in D3 heard when the dates are going to be for the Kindom of the Sun pattern contest in Ocala is? I know it's getting close and I know of no comfirmed dates yet.

Hey Matthew,

Come on down to Ocala. It's usually a big contest and it is a great flying site. I asure you, you will have fun. And if you are in the advanced class it will be very competitive, so bring you "A" game and come on down. Try to bring some of the other D6 guys with you. I sure would like for George Miller to with you guys. He's a good man and I'd like to meet him, and George I'm still flying the Focus. (I'm a lazy builder)

Check the AMA website (www.modelaircraft.org). Their "Events Calendar" shows the Ocala Kingdom of the Sun contest scheduled for the weekend of March 21 & 22, 2009.
