need help! recat shockwave with the upgraded engine
hey i have a redcat shockwave, swapped in the .18 engine, and now i can't get it to start to save my life!!! any suggestios?
to elaborate, i've tried factory tuning settings, engine is definatelt getting gas, glow plugs work. When i pull i see bubbles seeping through from under the glowplug which makes me think there is a compression issue.

You shouldn't have bubbles like that. And I personally prefer a spin-starter. I'd get one either from the LHS if that's who you're getting your redcat stuff from, or from Redcat or eBay. I have one of these, getting ready to sell it, because I like the Redcat 1/8 scale more.

Be careful when you pull the plug when running... its real easy to get sand or pieces of dirt between the glow plug gasket and head. I'd pull the entire head off and make sure everything is clean... Make sure you don't have dirt in the threads on the head and glowplug.
A loose plug will definetly make it hard to start.
