She would buy me anything but RC
im in the middle of negotiation with my girlfriend regarding the gift that i want for valentines day. I told her that I want the traxxas slash so badly. She said anything but RC. She said it is waste of money. Man! These women just don't understand the pain of rc addiction. But anyways, if she doesnt buy it for me, i will buy it myself since now i've settle down in a pretty good IT career

My wife's not the biggest fan of RC but she knew what she was getting into before we got married. I don't smoke or hang out in bars and she and my kids have everything they could ever want so my son and I do whatever we like when it comes to this hobby. If she and my daughter can buy $160 boots we're buyin' some RCs !

I hear you! RCs are expensive, no denying that, but womens apparel can be just as expensive. Has anyone seen how much a genuine Coach purse costs? You can buy a brand new LST2 with 2.4GHZ RTR radio for the same price!

Worth is in the eye of the beholder. I don't really tell my wife what she can and can't buy and she doesn't tell me. We do have to budget our spending but what we spend it on is not up for debate.
She just got a new car and I just got a new 60" plasma and we have our second child on the way so we are budgeting a little tighter right now but parts and stuff are no issue.

LOL, true. The HPI Savage is still in style from the very day it came out. The same for the Losi LST. And from whoat I understand, the Traxxas T-Maxx is still in style and it has been out since 1997!!!! 12 years!

I Just Tried them they work for me.....I had to change the bottom one to YouTube as the putfile link wouldn't work???

My wife despises this hobby that I am in. I take care of business, pay the bills, raise the kids, go to school, etc. She just simply hates the hobby. Everyone has their vise and this is mine. She doesn't dislike the hobby as much as she dislikes the time and $$ I spend on it. Granted I go way overboard, but it keeps me happy and is one of the things that balances me out.
