i would not touch it...better to buy one of the better quality products like Mugen,Jammin,Xray,Losi etc...HPI makes much lower quality products aimed towards newbies...

It looks like EVERYONE elses buggies. I BET my diff internals in my Kyosho are EXACTLY the same as these. Aluminum parts in all the right places. Whats the price? You cant really design a buggy any differently anymore where the result is earth shattering. Its all been done.

HPI does own HB, so it may well be the same thing. Looks decent though

Guys, it looks like the old xb8, in fact it could even be a clone. Look at the front and rear hubs, the radio box, the underside of the chassis (shape), the torque rods for chassis braces, even the way it sits reminds me of my old xb8. Doesn't look anything like an 8, but I can see the HB similarity.

Should be a good RTR.

the HB similarities would make sense since they are owned by HPI.

Looks decent except for the crappy phillips head scews all over it. But if it's around the $400 mark it wouldn't be a bad choice as a starter buggy.

I am from London England and have just bought this buggy! As i am a complete novice at this hobbie it seems to run well, my mate has a Kyosho Inferno and it is identical copy! The trophy is just a very very good copy of a very very good car! Im still running it in so not hit its full potential yet whatever that maybe.
Just a quick question can you change the buggy bodyshell to a truggy as the mounting points are in different places?

It would take a bit of work to change it over to a Truggy style M8, the wheel base is to short on the Buggy to get one of the Truggy bodies to fit. How ever you could adapt a Core truck body to fit because the wheel base is about the same. I'm working on a Buggy Mod into a Core truck as we speak and am trying to get it done this week end. If I remember, I will post pictures on my web site. Not the same model but it will give you an idea [:-]
