Right i ended up buying the drift spec TT-01. Found out quite quickly i didnt much like drifting. Its bone stock but being the drift comes with a tuned motor oil filed shocks and a few other bits like ball raced and i have just replaced the centre shaft for an alu one. I want to mes around with my gearing i have 19t pinion and a 61 spur and for our track have to much acceleration and not enough top end. what way do i need to go with my pinions or spurs??? any recommendations? its a pretty smooth flat tarmac track with a few tight turns and a long straight. Ive also changed wheels/tyres for dynamite touring type radials. Im also running 4900 20s 2s 7.4v lipos with a lipo saver.

id say use the 59spur and i think its the 21pinion(im not sure) but whichever matches with the 59 spur cos you still want some acceleration for getting out of the tight turns, a good website for that is http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/index.ph...&mode=threaded it tells you all you need to know, its how i finally got what was gearing

That was my problem.....22/55 is good for short speed fly bys. Right now i think im running 20/58 and its still really fast, has good take off and runs just a little warm.

You should say what you mean then. Just hook up your battery and go. Unless you are changeing the battery connectors you dont need to soider. As for "adding" stuff you have the most wanted parts, most of the other parts are just for bling. A good idea is to just start reading the pages there is so much usefull info 99.8% of this car is coverd. When i got my 1st one all i did was read "research" It helped me out alot.

Try reading thru the last 50pgs or more, it really isnt that much to go thru....20-30 mins tops or reading.

Out of the box it should be good to go with radio gear if your using more than 6 cell batteries you may wanna solder some higher current connectors like deans or power poles etc,but if your sticking with 6 cell packs you should be fine on tamiya plugs

The TT chassis is 190mm so you would need to widen the wheels abit but i expect someones done one somewhere

Agreed, 6mm look really good on almost all the 200mm bodys.
