Help me ID this car (pics inside)
I got this car from a friend who got it from his neighbor. Im guessing its a Thunder Tiger because the engine that came with says its from Thunder Tiger... (btw, the Traxxas 3.3 engine is mine, as well as all the tires) i really want to make this run
also, this car has ball diffs, universal/dog joint, adjustable camber and toe, and i *think* it has fiberglass disk brake (plastic - ish white ish - translucent material) pretty nice imo.
thanks!

Yes, is TT. I had one that I got in Dubai when I was in the middle East. I wore it out. If you use the 3.3 in that, it will destroy the transmission. The gears are nylon with aluminum bevel gears in the diff. You can't get OEM parts for it anymore.

I am the guy who loaned him the car to see if the 3.3 fit...... Is there any way to use like a GT2 tranny in it? They look about the same from pics but I am not 100% shure of that, opinions? I was thinking of slapping a jammin .12 in there and calling it done [8D]

Well the Thunder Tiger Phoenix is identical to the RC10GT. If you can find a hobby shop that can order the RC10 parts for you then your good. Also there are still alot of places on-line where you can get RC10GR parts as well.

Well after closer inspection of the chassis I ddid notice it was a bit different from the Phoenix GT. I tried searching their website for any legacy info but found nothing. man you got a mission on your hands.

We are starting to call it the "X" car because no one knows what in the world it is [&:]. Doubt my neighbor knows also, he barely knew one from another [>:]

Thats what I was also going to say, maybe my neighbor stuck some other tranny in there, I have no clue [>:] Know if they make parts for the DT10 or any parts that fit?

Nah the DT10 is not the same truck you have. Compare the pic of the chassis I found here compared to the one you have. The bolt pattern for the motor mount and the opening for the flywheel are in different positions.
