yeah, i dunno if you can see it but i got some slots cut so i can run my 14t 16 or 17t pinion or should be able to tho with the 14t i may have to mod the center diff mount cuz it gets in the way of the motor but i have no issue hacking a little plastic off there after what i did to the chassie...

Yeah, I see the slots. Use a rounded head bolt on the bottom possibly with a washer and your'e good to go...

I like mine for it's novelity value, but it's fairly labor intensive compared to my 10 year old Ofna 1/8 scale buggy...

1/10 buggy and truck and a 1/8 MT other than my chaos... that is

i like them all for what they are, bigger is fun tho it can be a pain at times... i like my 1/10;s a lot cuz they are simple to work on fast and just fun all around i can't wait to get my e-Chaos running, cuz its lots of fun to drive but the motor has been annoying for me so it went E.... it all depends on what you wanna do...

this is my chaos with a .16 megatech chris chianelli 1.6hp that i got off of ebay for $50 used. This thing hauls a** ! I also put 12mm adapters and hpi wheels and tires. Of course i had to change that p.o.s tranny, so i used a rc10gt tranny. No more stripping gears. [8D] Video coming soon.

I know that the bevel gears in these things always fry but i found that if you dont put diff fluid in the diff just some oil, theres less stress on the gear and they dont strip as easily.[8D]

We feel for ya Tom...You might want to order the Trinity metal pinions and drive cups soon. Mine are still holding up; I even brought mine to work today to run on our huge new concrete parking lot

yeah tho depending on how bad the dammage is i may just run it, they have a metal front hindge brace, right??? cuz i did a similar (maybe same) thing with my evader where the bumper/skidplate front part that covered the hindge pin brace just kept snapping off so i just said screw it, its not with the $ 1.79 for a new one and just run it like it is, no issue so the metal brace taks all the heat, so far so good... just a little tip, or depending on dammage a quick swap of the front and rear ones may be in order because they two diff/shock tower setups are the same parts so you could swap out the bumpers if you want the absorbtion factor up front, because its not probibla that the rear will take lots of heat...

btw with me bumpers take a ton of heat, i really messed up the ones on my savage... 15 ft jump nose dived, leading to a few front flips landing on front bumper outta on of those then rolled onto its wheels, i sheered the two screws that hold the bumpers to the braces, so i got some screws that are 2x as thick and those look like they're a bit bent

i don't think the hex sizes work out, but if you can get the hexes on to the truck then sure, tho, i dunno why you'd want to... the stockers aren't amazing and will be quite a bit smaller, but if you can get the hexs on, or the hex sizes match um no issue as far as mounting them goes...

I don't know why anyone would want anything other than Mini-Inferno Tyres for these little turds...They have a crapload of options, they really cheap (cost not quality) and they bolt right on. Mine have little x-shaped studs and have held-up well on and off the road. One small issue: check the glue when new and add a couple drops of CA carefully if any sections look suspect.
