WORLD MODELS ULTIMATE 40S LANDING PROBLEMS
hello RC Universe:
I have the World Models 40S Ultimate. It flies great. Just a problem with bouncy landings. I try to fly it in as I do my large scale aerobatics to avoid the dreaded stall. I try to find the fine line between landing too fast and too slow.
For some reason, it lands smoothly and then it bounces on our grass runway and flips over or tries to flip over, but I immediately counter act it with opposite aileron to keep it straight and level with both wheels on terra firma (the earth).
Has anyone had this problem with their WM Ultimate 40s?

Practise flying it at stall, at high altitudes.
I suspect that you are coming in a bit too hot or that you have the C.G. too far forward.
The plane lands faster than 3D planes but not so fast that it tends to bounce.
Also practice flying it down under slight power, level it about 6" over the runway and hold it there as you chop the trottle.
Let it settle in to land.

RE: WORLD MODELS ULTIMATE 40S LANDING PROBLEMS
Mine floats in for landings. I think you may have your CG too far back as opjose suggested. Mine started with the CG very very far back. So far back that it would fly upward at any attitude (it would fly up on knife edge!). After wrestling it back down, I adjusted the CG further forward. Going this way, I got a CG that allowed me to float in with a little throttle, chop and flare. Beautiful landings. I was on tarmac.
