nah its not in there yet, the gap ive set it up to leave when i do glass it in is about 10mm. need to find some wood aswell... hmmm. On the stinger ive put a piece of 3mm plywood inside the transom to tighten it against, just for mor strenght really. SHould i glue the wood in with epoxy aswell when i do the stuffing tube?

Still looking for a pipe :/.

The transom shouldn't need any wood on it as the boat was made not to use any. Whatever that composite that they use in them is strong enough.
As far as a pipe goes, the CMB TT pipe works well and is very quiet. The OPS 3280 that Prestwich and others sell is very good also but very loud. There is a cheap mod that can be done to quiet it down.

I put the wood in because the nuts that came with the stinger had rather prominent gripper spikes in, surely they would split the glass if i tightened them up. going to cut down tube and flexi this afternoon, then i can get them installed. Need to find some wood and some way of cutting some wood.. hmmm... maybe i'll use cardboard n epoxy it compleyely hahaha.
