Default Ladies and Gentleman presenting to you, the Coro Junker

One crashed plane..check

CA and elmers ultimate glue..check

Google for rc airboats .....check

One stealth mission to the quik trip ...check

3 hours of free time...check

Coca-Cola proudly presents the Coro Junker

This thing is very overpowered lol had to glue some old D cells in the front to keep it down, 2 of em. Just guessing but 35-45 mph depending on how rough the water is..

The engine is an old .65 a tree grabbed the plane ( jumping trees grr) and I wanted to give this a try..I am very happy that I did. The first version had a dual air rudder that would not line up for a straight run, the water rudder is much better with a little trim work.

But I do miss that slide LOL.
Just to give you guys scale here 45 longx26 at the widest point..

I love your coro junker. It sounds like you are having fun. What about the future. You going to build more or go back to planes.

BTW She's huge.

LOL you guys are crackin me and the ol'lady up. Yeah it works really well after some trial and error I wish I had on film, glow engines do not like breathing under water, coro is to light for high speeds without adding weight, boats with air propellers while airborn can be amazingly graceful, straight sided boats that slide become airfoils, improper bracing leads to weird drafting effects, geese can run incredibly fast. on and on the list goes lol....

ugly thing but a lot of fun anyway

I think the guys that regularly use coro, seal the ends of the flutes with hot glue. Not sure though........Jasper should be around soon, he's the coro king, he'll tell ya' how to seal those things up.

Sweet, another all coro boat and a monster at that. Love it!

I've used hot glue and silicone to seal the end of the flutes. Either one will work fine. If you want to tape over the edge too as well, don't get sloppy with silicone, tape won't stick to it.

If you want more speed, it's pretty well documented that Mountain Dew signs are faster than Coke signs.

Any chance of a vid?[8D]

WARNING!: What ever you do, DO NOT use, I say again...DO NOT use campaign signs!!! They will cause the boat to turn in directions that will result in a horrific crash and if in proximity to other boats it will unexpectedly slam into them to make them sink!

And the campaign signs never hold up to what they promise!

I am building one out of a realty for sale sign. I have the bottom ready to assemble but need more material for the top; and a little stumped around the motor mount.
