Default Hot exhaust on a wooden prop

We're installing a Saito 300 twin with a wooden, three blade pusher prop on a pylon. The present set up has the exhaust pipes running straight back and ending 3/4" from the front of the prop blades. Is the hot exhaust on the prop an issue?

As far as i know,no.In full scale aircraft ther has been a series of failures with composite(other than wooden)props re delamination at the exhaust gas point where it passes thru the blades, severe vibration results.
