BlueCor is getting hard to find. It may not be made any longer.

But there is a similar product, also from Dow, called Protection Board II. It is sold in the same big fanfold bundles. The most obvious difference between Protection Board II and BlueCor is that Protection Board II has the thin plastic film on only one side, where BlueCor has the film on both sides.

This material is used as insulation under siding, so you will usually find it in the insulation section of a store. I got some at a local lumber yard, but I have also seen it at Lowe's in this area (Ohio).

Other foam products are available. In art stores, craft stores, office supply stores, and even Wal*Mart you can find paper-covered foam sheets. This product has many names: art board, FoamCore, foamboard, Sturdy Board. Whatever it's called, you need to remove the heavy paper covering before making airplanes out of it. Many people cut out the parts for the plane before removing the paper. Then they soak the parts in water for a few hours, and the paper will come off fairly easily.

And you can buy Depron from [link=http://www.rcfoam.com/]RCFoam[/link].
