What IS it with this whole close to the ground thing anyway??? I mean, we spend all this money on these insanely overdone toys that can LEAVE the ground, only to bring them back down there within inches of it.
Are we just idiots, or what?

I am still waiting on what Scott is doing but it looks like his daughter will have a ball tournament in Camden. It she does then we will stay here and fly in Camden. Our field is beside the ball complex so it will be convienent for Scott and Chris to fly between games.

Jim,
I got the transportation problem worked out. Bill Wheeler will be pulling my trailer, but we won't get there until 12:30 - 1:00. He has the Murray club meeting to go to first.
Bubba,
I've got the 2 1/2 gallons of MSMA for you, $58.

So...uh...WOW.
Spend much time flying, and you'll learn pretty quick that WildHare's support is somewhat legendary amongst the RC community.
Well...it's a WELL DESERVED reputation.
NOT only did Tom work with me throughout this week to ensure that i'd be able to get the specific color scheme I wanted on one of their 102.5" Edges, but then this today...
I called to go ahead and give them my card #, in hopes they could charge AND ship tomorrow. Well, get this...Patty not only accomodated that "kid at Christmas" request...but she did it LITERALLY in the dark, by candle light!
Apparently, they had a NASTY series of storms come through last night...roughly a quarter million power outages. They're sitting there, in the dark, running a few necessities by generator.
NEVER MIND THAT THOUGH! A customer called, and Patty and tom did EVERYTHING their current level of technology/electricity allowed them to do, and have committed to shipping tomorrow if at all possible.
Y'all...that's simply amazing. ANY business would be easily forgiven for simply closing up shop in this situation. Heck, if there was a simple "Sorry, we're without power, we'll respond when we can" voice or email message, that would have been "great job of keeping your customers informed". But no...these folks are going above and beyond to do everything in their power to handle customer requests.
With service like this NOW, I can't imagine ever getting ANYTHING but superior support from them down the road should I need it.

RE: KEN/TEN FLYING
I have the first 2 7955's installed on the elevators of the big extra. They are nice. There is no perceptable "stepping" during very slow stick movement. They seem to be faster and stay together better during fast transitions from full up/down. There isNO gear slop at all. Now I see I need to replace some ball links! Also, I did notice that one servo arm could move on the splines. The Futaba arms do not clamp and this does make a difference. I will be using SWB from now on.
