mucchi 202 or 205
I am interested in building a scale kit or plans of a Macchi C.202 Folgore "Lightning" or Macchi 205 single-seat fighter. but I can not find any each, if anyone can help let me know. I want it to be my first warbird kit, and put retracts on it too.
thank you..
thank you..

The Macchi as the first warbird may be a mistake, they are a bear to handle in the air.
That being said ImpScale makes a 202: http://www.impscale.com/html/macchi_202.html

IlBart,
That Veltro is from VQ Warbirds and can be found here: http://www.vqwarbirds.com/products/aircraft/macchi.html
Its not the most scale looking bird, and is on the smaller side.
I won't go into my opinion of VQ here either as it's already well known.

request to ilbart;
a club member has a very nice macchi 202 with an italian squadron symbol and motto. we would like
to understand the meaning of the words of the symbol, but i cannot find a translation anywhere.
could you help with the english meaning of " sollo Lachi locca" or maybe its "sollo achi locca".?
gracie

RE: mucchi 202 or 205
thank you at-6 texan;
I'm certain of the spelling; with the words there is a symbol of a knight's
armored boot; i'm not sure if the boot shape is intended to be the "L" of
the secong word or not, but it would be one of the two versions of my first
post.
The insignia decal came with the plans, but i can't find a reference
to explain it.
Thanks for your help, (and I envy the year-round flying weather
you have in Firenze, not like here in Minnesota)
ciao

If you like Italian fighters try a Fiat Centauro. RCM Plans. 86" w/s G-45. I would love to have the plans blown up to 110" w/s.It is such a great flyer. Stuka Jon

Hi, I think the correct spelling is "Sotto a chi tocca!" which means something like: "com'on, who's next?" in Italian slang, when you call someone into the fight.
