How about Marvel Mystery Oil Air Tool oil. Works great and doesn't break the piggy bank.

Many racers in Florida use this. We obviously live in an area of humidity and heat.. We are a magnet for rust. This stuff is hands down the best penetrating oil I've ever used.

I've always used the Marvel Mystery Air Tool oil without issue.

The only motor I ever had a problem with was the early OS 46 AX motors, they would rust by just looking at them.

Dave, you must mean the early FX as theres only one model of the AX made. Auto Tranny Fluid is tops.

He means when they first came out, like the first year, the bearings were cheap and they rusted just talking about them.

But there is a revison to the AX, look at where the back cover screws are, new ones have blind holes with a slightly different passage at that point of the case

This happened last year
