Default RE: The "Rifle" thread.....

Well I just got home from meeting my friend Angel today and picking up my new new rifle. I could have stayed and talked for hours with
him but he was at work and I did not want to get him in trouble. I told him I would post a build on it so I will do it in here in the rifle thread instead of making another one.
First look.......AWSOME. he is an excellent builder (wish I had the patience he did). I had to wait for the drool that was coming from my mouth to dry before I took the picture. I briefly stuck the pieces together and it is a nice Plane , It is a hair larger all around then my old magnum(Noticed I said old.. yea its gone) While taking the picture I thought I heard the Jett 60LX saying thank you but I wasn't sure.
More to come

Thats over 3 lbs and I doubt it will fit. Have you thought of trying an ARC 28-58-1, 100amp esc annd 4S 5000mAh at half the weight (and money)?

http://www.lightflightrc.com/
3180 kv, 28mm diameter and under 5.5 oz.
With a 4S you would probably have to drop down to a 5.25 thru 6" diameter prop but it would turn over 36,000 rpm. I was surprised on my 42" flying wing when a 5.5" prop gave more thrust then weight plus would run prop pitch speed in level flight. No way to know for sure what setup will work best for you until you try it but the above battery, motor and esc woud weigh about 24 oz..
