RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?
Are you willing to pay the piper? I could make you one, but it will take some time. If you want a model of your rev, Send me
pictures of every angle of the sled, right down to the slider cage desighn. Do you want it ready to run, or do you want a rolling
chassis, so you can put your own guts in? Let me know, a "roller" would probley be the cheapest way to go.

Hello Joe, I'm in the middle of building a Viper-ski Brand "Mountain Max" 900e Electric, I should be finished with the chassis by the
middle of May, If you'd like i could post a picture of that R/c Rocket on this site, maybey you'll like it much better than the "rev" model. Right now i just have the frame completed, but the desighn will be like none other. I will also let everyone know that by 2008
i'm making plans to build a NEW "Viper-ski" Brand "Nitro" R/C ATV is in the making. I hope to have it available to the public by the
latest 2009. Pictures will be added of the prototype ATV soon as well.

Hey Derik,
its not the gears and motor grinding, it is the track sprocket. When it gets snow inside the track, the track sprocket slips. Those models were common for that, I have (2) Polaris XC's, and (1) Blade striker, which does the same thing. Well it did, until i made some up-grades to them all.

RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?
ur motor is not the problem. its the driver cogs that turn the track that are slippin and making the grinding noise. i thought it was the gears at first too.

RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?
I have a New Bright R/C snowmobile I purchased for my grand son. He is very happy with it but we dropped it off the shelf and the left steering arm (the black plastic arm the wire steering rod goes into) is broken. Also the shock.- I understand New Bright does not furnish parts. Can anyone help me with new or good used parts? Thanks!

RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?
ive had to fix those "hundreds" of times and i know a sweet way to make new ones that are stonger. how old is your grandson(is it worth the time). if so, i will make u some instructions. it is rather simply(if u can use a drill). U are talking about where the ski attatches right?

RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?
i found a way to stop the track from slipping. i took out the track and suspension. then i took off the track and took the drive cog out and drilled some holes in it(make sure the holes line up straight on opposite sides) then took some stiff wire and put it through the holes and bent the ends to keep it in. so now it grips on the center of the track too instead of just the sides

RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?
Great job!
The snow will not however stabalize the suspension unfortunately. If anything, you should have made the stance wider. It will roll like crazy in the uneven snow. Speaking from experience. I have made 3 nitro setups.
Another thing, is the plastic won't last at all when it gets cold at speed. It will gradually crack and you will have to start all over again. If you get the chance, build your own body and then you will have a machine that can jump and roll and won't break apart. I made my body out of aluminum and fiberglass and will never crack.
Again nice work and sure you cannot wait for the snow. Myself, I love the summer lol. Canadian winters are too long and cold so summer is a nice break on my end.
Good luck!
