How many Helo pilots are using PCM?
FM has worked fine for me for years on planes, the heli's are even closer to transmitter, so i would imagine the odds of getting locked out are even lower for helis.

How many Helo pilots are using PCM?
I started using PCM 15 years ago and hav loved it ever since. I used FM on a couple planes yet, but mostly PCM. I was flying on the boat with my helicopter and a friend was starting his stik and said his controls were going nuts. I asked what freq he was on and he was on my freq. I didn't even notice it. With FM, I would have been swimming, looking for the heli.

PCM := peace of mind.
Better noise immunity means I stay in control through dirtier environments. If I'm not controlling it, I want it coming down in a predictable manner with least possible inertia and least possible distance covered. Helis are expendable, people are not.

How many Helo pilots are using PCM?
I've bought PCM a while ago, tried to compare range check's with my Hitec 5ch FM and one of my JR NES-649 after I got the 649... The difference is huge! I doubt I'll buy a FM reciver again!

I bought a JR PCM X388 TX with my first helicopter, Concept 30, in about 96 I think. All my choppers and my jet, when it actually gets to fly, are PCM.
Never failed on me, but then FM hasn't failed in my planes either.

I use FM and have never had a problem in three years of flying. I've seen others with both PCM and FM have problems and resulted in a crash. PCM is not full proof but I do think it's better.

I've smashed a few planes because of radio interference! I used FM recievers on those planes... Never expirienced glitches with PCM in my planes or helis, even when others are complaining about glitces!!
