Won't take off
OK, I got my first plane, its an A10 Thunderbolt II ducted fan jet. They said it was a good beginers plane.So why can't I get it off the ground?

1- EDF's are not for the beginner. Usually fast and little airflow over control surfaces during start. -> Bungee start
2- Planes with a low wing are not suited for beginners. Center of gravity is above center of lift. Not stable enough. Decent beginnerplanes have high wings, don't look like an existing full scale plane, don't look fast/cool/real/bling, don't fly fast, have low landing speed and can take a beating.
Get yer money back and never ever visit that shop again.
Check the beginners subforum for suitable models.

ron_van_sommeren is right. And smack the seller in the nose while you are at it. BUY NOTHING NOW! Start reading and join a club. Learn what beginners use and then start buying and coming back to this great forum for help. Good luck.
