Yep, me too. The bumper is actuallly very sturdy; HPI designed it well. Not only can it taking compressive forces from hits, it also can take the whole weight of the entire Savage as you carry it!
If I remember correctly, GH made an alum custom grab bar for Savages at one time. I dont know if they still do.,

Yeah, it's hard to grab that roll bar under the body. I just grab mine by the wheelie bar. I do however have one of those roll bars on my truck, and like it there.

To access my grab bar, what I did is cut out the rear windo of the truck cab. Partly to allow more air to go through, but mostly to be able to utilize that grab bar!
