When placing my LRP .28 pull start engine onto the mounts of my dm-1 and onto the car my pull start won't allow me to correctly place the engine flat onto the chassis. The pullstart droops below the mounts. I looked up the mounts (Ofna 40574) and they don't even seem to be the correct mounts for this car, or is it? What mounts do I need to make the mounts and the pullstart one level. Anyone have any extras that they want to sell or trade for the ones I have?


Any help would be great!

idk how much space is needed to clear the pullstart but you could try using washers to raise the engine mounts a bit.

Here are the motor mounts that fit the DM-1 cars (Pro or Spec).
OFN40574 - short - bump start
OFN40674 - tall - pull start
OFN30480 - tall - pull start - adjustable (allow the engine to be moved front to rear)

Here are the flywheel choices.
OFN40573 - 35mm dia. - pull start or non-pull start
OFN10040 - 38mm dia. - allows pull start engines with tall mounts to
be bump started.
