Default lightning wearing engine screws

Question for other lightning owners: Just driving my lightning around on my street, small bumps or even inclines seem to make it bottom out a bit, which is no big deal, but the engine mount screws are getting worn down every run to the point that I have to cut a notch with a dremel to take them out with a flat head. If it was something I had to do once every year or something I wouldn't care, but it is closer to every tank. If anyone has anything figured out to raise it up a bit or something I would love to hear it. Thanks!

In the package with the manual, there should be some plastic c clips , they go on the top side of the shock springs to increase tension on travel.

Ah, I will have to see if I can order some of those. I bought a display model, and I have been shocked by how many things were missing from it. This can be added to the list. Thank you!

I saw the available skid plates, but honestly, it already bottoms out too easily, I don't really want to put it another mm lower. Might protect the screws, but I think it would make the real problem bigger.

Thanks for the help!

one of the troubles with onroaders....I keep extra engine mount screws on hand (never actually changed them out though)...also once you do get them clips you can put some heavier shock oil in the shocks.....I also have my body sitting really low so it scrapes quite a bit (may help some but who knows..lol)

with that said I've only ran my onroader in the street in front of my house...its fairly smooth and I also try to dodge rocks and what not....but really I dont run mine a bunch due to all it seems I get accomplished is racing 1/1 cars down the street, sometimes running underneath them to pass (not a good idea unless its like a pickup and you know the driver and KNOW they wont freak out when a lil car shoots out from underneath..lol).....
