Spurr Cover Rubbing
The other day I figure I would make a couple of RPM purchases from Stormer Hobbies and I bought the following:
Is the gear cover for the LST not the same one as for the LST2?!?! When I drive the truck, it's grinding against the inner cover and will soon eat through.
Here's the link to the one I bought: https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...ns&pn=RPM73335
Also, is the head gaurd not the same size for the Mach 427? It's way too small and I ended up having to zip tie it on.
Part # | Description | Qty | B/o | Price Ea. | Ext. Price | ||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
<tt>DYN0910</tt> | Mach 427/Mach 26 O-Ring Set (6) | 1 | <tt>$6.95</tt> | <tt>$6.95</tt> | |||||||||
<tt>RPM73255</tt> | LST Head Guard, Blue for Mach .26 engine | 1 | <tt>$3.95</tt> | <tt>$3.95</tt> | |||||||||
<tt>RPM73335</tt> | LST Gear Cover and Backing Plate, blue | 1 | <tt>$9.95</tt> | <tt>$9.95</tt> |

RE: Spurr Cover Rubbing
Thanks for the response. So does rubbing hurt anything?
Also, it sucks the Head Guard doesn't fit... on RPM's site, it says that it will fit the LST2 (second product in the link below):

RE: Spurr Cover Rubbing
thankfully I run aluminum side rails that sit dead flush with the top and bottom plates so the cover works for me but only due to after market rails![:@]
After reading the quote from rpm that cover will be the last piece of there product on my truck!
