RE: Thunder RAPTOR
I'm only going by what I've heard, but I'm told the Raptor 60 and 90 share the same frame, so it's a bolt-in thing. I can't say anything about fan, gearing, blades, etc - just don't have the experience.

RE: Thunder RAPTOR
My Raptor 90 3D started life as a regular 60V2. Slowly I changed the plastic pieces in the head to metal, and kept adding upgrades every time I had an "Upgrade Opportunity"
The last few things that I did, was:
First
- swap out the engine from a 60 to a 90
- Change the gears to accomodate the bigger engine (the 90 gears are optional parts on the 60 manual)
I felw it like that for a while, it felt good but it still looked like my old 60.... then
- Swap out the tail boom, tail shaft and tail control rod
- Swap out the 680 blades for 710 blades

Edit: Can't spell my own name....
