Mugen E-MBX5R Conversion - 56k warning.
I sold my revo as a roller and moved the guts over to a new platform. I finished up my brushless conversion of my buggy last night. I bought the roller from a a guy on rc-tech.
Stripped it down:
Installed an RC-Monster motor mount with neu 1515 1y/s
RC-Monster battery tray:
Using the brake servo mount as an esc mount I threw a mamba max with ubec and fan from my spare parts box into it to get a feel for it:

It was good with the Mamba Max but was a rats nest of wires and a very sloppy, rushed, and temporary install. My Mamba Monster made it back from repair on the 2nd to last day of conversion. I added a Traxxas Slash reciever box as a place to hide wires!
I dremeled a channel in the bottom of the battery tray to run the servo to the rx box and ran the esc around the base of the rear brace.
painted up a quick body to beat up: Jconcepts Illuzion for mbx5r

Thanks! I had the motor on hand. It came out of my converted revo. It is a bit of an unruly beast, I might go smaller in the future, Either a Neu 1512 or Medusa 036-60-2200
