Hi Dave
As i could see, you are using your tanks parallel. Whats the difference? Any experience not to use serial? What kind of hopper are you using?

Sorry been away for a few days with the wife.
In operation not a lot, I've run both set ups on other models, tank shape can make a difference, because these tanks are narrow I figured it would be fine. Trevor has series and I have parallel, my UAT has a tiny amount of air after each flight, I have felt clunks in each main tank.
Dave
Bob I will get you a shipping quote, just waiting on more kits!

More flights today with the Inspiration, I moved the c of g forward 5mm after the first flight today (in 15mph winds) as in the turns it was sitting on it's tail. It's now Sweeeet. No KE couple to mention, super slow landings. Perfect small turbine sports model, now I've flown it again it's closer to a Badnit ARF than the Flash, more "pointy" with the thinner wing.
Really like this aeroplane (like my Spark!) Inverted spins are sweet and stop quickly, snaps are a little slow, but easy to stop.

For those building an Insp, my C of G, fuselage only, tail on, hopper full, is 150mm back from the wing break line

Your kit came in a separate box...just to add to my shipping costs...[:@]
Bet if Jamie flies the Inspiration he'll change his mind!, so don't let him ;-)
Inbound
It could be, it's just a CC flex away!

Hey Jamie what a perfect combination for the Merlin 90, and a good test bed before the Tazar/Mach1/Allan Brown design!
Have joined the fuzz together now, and starting to build up the fin! You need to fit the wood in both faces and bring your fuzz up, so that it can be fitted in the mould and drilled before I give it back!

No not yet. I would like to, if work commitments allow me to!
I must speak to Martin, because need to order the engine and I don't know if he wants his just yet.

More shots of the Inspiration yesterday at our grass site. you can see the grass length on one of the shots, it was also very wet. Even with a P70 take off roll was only 75m.
Great sports model for tight sites, sealed nose opening so no mess on the radio!
