Default TX & RX

Would like to know if a tx and rx can be used with a brushed motor system as well as a brushless system as long as the esc matches up with the components. Its a 2.4 ghs tx and rx from a brushed heli set up. Would like to use it on a edf jet.

Default RE: TX & RX

the answer to the first question is Yes......

it doesn't care....

but your comment of where it comes from could be a concern.....

many TX's that come with RTF Heli's... like the Axe, etc. etc. etc.
have mixing (for the swash) built in that make them non-usable for airplanes

so if it is just a standard TX...then yes. assuming the rest of the electronics are set up properly.

but if it is a pre-mixed heli radio, you may have some challenges
