Default Servos for 1/3 scale Sig Spacewalker?

I'm putting finishing touches on a 1/3 scale Sig Spacewalker. The plane has a 104" wingspan and weights around 20 lbs and is powered by a Zenoah G-38.

Anyone have suggestions on servos?

I was thinking about using the following servos:
Hitec HS-475HB (61 oz-in torque) on each ailron
Hitec HS-645MG (107 oz-in torque) on the rudder
Hitec HS-645MG (107 oz-in torque) on the elevator (one servo for the entire elevator)

Will these servos be sufficient?

Thanks,
Greg

No. Those would be on the lowest end for torque that one would consider. I would suggest at least 100oz/in for each aileron. 200oz in for the elev/rudder. Use all metal gear servos as the vibration from a gas engine will produce significant slop in a servo.

Greg,

Those will be just fine. I'm guessing you're not going to be 3Ding the plane... :-) I would suggest that you use two 645's on the elevator though...

Good Luck and enjoy...!

Ed
