Redcat 2.4GHz radio
Does anybody have it? I found it for $39.49. That price is too good for a 2.4GHz radio. What do you guys think? Get a 2.4GHz radio from Redcat or one from Futaba,Spektrum, etc?

RE: Redcat 2.4GHz radio
Futuaba and Spektrum are both great brands but very expensive.
It really depends on what your intentions are, if you are planning on racing RC Vehicles competitively and becoming a Pro RC Racer then buying go for something better and more expensive like the 2.4G 3 Channel Futaba RC Vehicle Racing radios or Spektrum.
But if you just looking to have fun bashing your own personal RCs, then Go for Redcat Racing 2.4G Radio.

I'm running these in three of my cars and trucks they work great. They don't have the features of the expensive models but they do the job. They have servo reversing and steering dual rate and you cant beat the price. Check out www.andyshobby.com/radios

Im planing on picking up one of these, and a handful of the recievers. They do all the towerhobbies one does, but they are less expensive, plus your supporting redcat.

The spectrums are killer radios, well worth every penny. Especially with the bind-n-drive. One control for all your cars, you can't beat that.

RE: Redcat 2.4GHz radio
The Redcat 2.4GHz Is a good step up from a 27mhz am radio that normally comes in a most ready to run cars and trucks. I have tried a few of the Redcat 2.4's now and to tell you the truth they do work well. I have one in my Aftershock and I have to say for the price it cannot be beat. You would think by it being so inexpensive that it would not work to well or have a good feel to it but it does. Yea you can always go out and buy a really expensive radio and it will work well but unless you really need all the extra bells & whistles it is pointless to spend the extra money.

I've had nothing but good luck with my Redcat products to date, and the DSM-2C system is probably top of the heap as far as quality goes. Especially at that price.
I prefer it over the Losi/Spectrum system.

It dosn't have End Point Adjustments (EPA) but shows how inexpensive it is to make, market , distribute, and sell 2.46GHz TX/RX set!
Is there a similar product with EPA or I am stuck with big and expensive brands?

Thanks!
I see it...it is DX3E, One model memory with Rx that sells for about $55. That is expensive.
Unless I am missing something but their DX2.0 for $15 more is a better deal. Futaba FHSS is even a better deal around the same price with 10 model memories.
